CERAMIC WALL TILES

(Group BIII : W/A ≥ 10%)

Ceramic Wall tiles are formed of clay, silica, feldspar, quartz and water, which is then dried to a dust, pressed at great pressure and fired at temperatures ranging from 1,000°C to  1,200°C (depending on the type of wall tiles). Ceramic Tiles are produced using either the Monocottura (single fired) or Monocottura (double fired). Ceramic tiles have a much higher water absorption rate of between 10% - 20% and they are more suited for wall application rather than floor application because they have a softer body. Ceramic tiles are generally used for internal area walls such as bathrooms, kitchens and etc.
